Why is cold-pressed (or cold process) soap better for you?
Cold Pressed Soap is made by combining oils and fats with lye to create a chemical reaction known as saponification - which means that it turns it into soap! It then is poured into molds where it sets and cures over 4 weeks. Our FRESH Cold Pressed Soap is handmade with a hydrating combination of coconut oil, olive oil and castor oil to create a rich, creamy lather that replenishes the skin.
By going with a cold process for our soap making, it means that the quality of our ingredients don't degrade; and our ingredients are always the highest quality and sustainably sourced! That means the benefits of the butters, oils and essential oils are just as fresh as when they are picked, to when they touch your skin.
